We are here for you

By establishing a trusting client-to-therapist relationship, we strive to assist in improving the client’s mental health and quality of life. Therapeutic services help clients become aware of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

Individual Therapy

Operating from a strengths-based approach, we honor an individual’s right to self-determination and encourage insight and understanding. We respect the individual’s values and goals in treatment. Clients are involved in the treatment process every step of the way, including identifying concerns, goals, and expectations.

Our compassionate environment encourages working through obstacles, struggles, and past traumas to improve functioning and emotional well-being.

Family Therapy

Operating from a Family Systems approach, we address the family unit to improve communication, resolve interfamilial conflict and strengthen family bonds. Family therapy is structured to target the obstacles that impact the functioning of the family.

Group Therapy

Therapy groups can be an empowering place to grow and heal through bonding with others. Individuals learn from the group leader as well as group participants. In addition, participants can be a great source of support, bringing their own experiences and stories to a safe therapeutic setting. Providing mutual aid, support and social connections are the gift of the group process. Our objective is to place clients in a group that best fits their needs, thus providing an environment that is safe, supportive and effective for addressing their goals.

We offer a variety of support groups on a range of issues. Our topic areas expand, based upon demand.

Current support groups include:

  • Anxiety and Depression group, designed for adolescents

  • Bereavement Group

  • Mother’s group

  • LGBTQ Group, ages 18-25

  • Older Adults group for anxiety and depression

  • Women’s Group designed for those ages 18+

  • Socialization group for children ages 9-13

Adolescent Therapy

Being a teen comes with tremendous pressures, which can be overwhelming, causing anxiety, depression and low self esteem. Using a strengths-based approach, our counselors provide a safe and validating environment to explore the unique concerns of this time period and work together with your teen to gain healthy coping skills, navigate relationships and understand the changes in their bodies and the impact on their emotions.

Relationship Therapy

Relationships can be difficult and every situation is unique. Working together, we seek to help both partners gain a better understanding of themselves and one another. By identifying the negative cycles in your relationship and building upon your strengths, relationship therapy aims to resolve conflict, facilitate change and help you grow as a couple. Treatment will guide problem resolution, improving communication, working through relationship trauma and fostering mutually giving interactions.
